British Native form of Butomus umbellatus (AGM) with low growing 3 sided rush leaves and pink flowers in umbels on tall stems

Plant Butomus umbellatus with between 5 - 20cm (2"- 8") of water over the top of the basket in a sunny pond.
 
Supplied in a 1 litre basket (11cm/4" high)

Divide Butomus umbellatus on a regular basis to encourage flowering. Butomus species will not flower in a congested basket but prefer muddy and nutrient high conditions. Butomus umbellatus are loved by hoverflies and butterflies when in flower in later summer.
