The deeper the Sagittaria sagittifolia baskets are planted within the depth range given the larger the arrow shaped leaves will grow. Bulb like tubers will appear during the season which will grow a new Sagittaria sagittifolia plant for next year which invariably grows outside of the parent basket and will need resiting. A good plant for bees, hoverflies and butterflies as pollinators when in flower in Summer
