STARTUP COLLECTION FOR WILDLIFE (Small pond) Selection of British Native plants chosen to encourage wildlife in small ponds 9 sq ft surface area 3ft x 3ft (1m) or as an add on for already planted larger ponds. Includes 2 portions Native submerged oxygenators, 4 Native shallow marginal plants (ready potted), 3 Native floating plants(bareroot) or potted rafting plants dependant on seasonal availability. The plants will come wrapped individually in their mesh baskets and will need to be placed in the pond at the correct depths for each different species. There will be a selection of depths involved including oxygenators for the deeper water and both rafting and upright plants so that each area of the pond is starting to create a habitat for a different wildlife group. A good plant for bees, hoverflies and butterflies as pollinators when in flower in Summer. (See Planting a wildlife pond page)
