TERMS OF BUSINESS
In placing an order with us online and completing the checkout process you are accepting our Terms of Business.

  • We confirm your online order by email.
  • Parcels can be sent to an address in UK only.
  • We can NOT send to Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland from December 31st 2020 onwards.
  • We can NOT send to GY, JE postcodes due to unreasonably high costs.

Plant orders placed today will be sent within a week of your order (weather permitting). Container ponds may take longer dependent on stock availability.

  • We normally dispatch plants within a week of your order being placed with us. Orders placed Monday – Wednesday usually leave us the next day. Thursday and weekend orders would be dispatched on the following Monday rather than be in a parcel too long over the weekend.
  • You can specify a date of delivery for your order in the General Comments box as you go through Checkout. We will see this and manually override the automated date on your email confirmation.
  • When we do the paperwork in readiness to pick your plants in the Nursery you will receive an email to give you notification that it is being processed. On the morning of delivery you will then receive an email from APC Parcelrite, our courier, with a tracking detail.
  • Delivery is usually by APC Overnight and can be tracked via apc-overnight.com

Delivery:

  • Delivery cost is calculated on total order value as follows:

  • Your mail order parcel for England or Wales and some areas of Scotland should arrive within 24 hours of dispatch from us via the Courier APC. (48 – 72 hour delivery for some areas of Scotland and all Islands).
  • Track parcels on the internet using the code in the email or a text to a mobile from apc-overnight.com.
  • You do not need to sign for delivery. Fill in a safe place for your parcel to be left without signature during Checkout. We include this information on the delivery docket.
  • The courier may not ring your doorbell as they have been given a safe place to leave your parcel which conforms to ‘Non Contact Delivery Practice’ rules.
  • We can supply a photograph of where the parcel has been left without signature, if requested.
  • Goods should be unpacked, inspected and given the correct growing conditions immediately – according to each plant’s ticket.
  • Plants are individually wrapped and labelled with details of the planting requirements of each plant. We believe all plants sent out by us are true to name and every effort is made to ensure they are of good quality when they reach you.
  • In the later part of the season some plants will be cut down so that they fit into the box for dispatch.
  • Container ponds can be sent direct by the manufacturers and can take between 1-8 weeks to be dispatched depending on size and colour finish as not all combinations are in stock. Plant support rings and plants ordered with a container pond will either be sent with the pond or after it has been delivered.

Returns Policy:

  • If goods are received in a damaged/unsatisfactory condition please let us know by phone on 07931 557082 or by email on [email protected] within 48 hours.
  • You can return a plant or item you are not happy with within 14 days of receiving it but you must contact us within 2 days of receipt to advise you wish to return it.
  • Please send a photo with your request to return an item so we can see the issue.
  • We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us.
  • Until we receive the goods back they are your responsibility. For your protection we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return items.
  • To receive a refund for the value of the goods please return the item to us in its original condition, within 14 days of delivery.
  • If the item is not returned in its original state, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value.

The above policies do not affect your statutory rights for faulty dry goods.

  • We do not export and we do not do trade prices or discounts.
  • We are VAT Registered No. 441 6166 09 and a VAT invoice can be supplied on request. Our Checkout prices include VAT.
  • Our Plant Passport Registration Number is GB – 129764.
