Our toad tadpoles have back legs!
It has taken between 3 and 4 months but they have finally developed their back legs.
This is the stage when all tadpoles - frog or toad, change their dietary requirements. They need more protein in their diet so the vegetable based flake we have been using is no longer sufficient.
We have changed to Late Stage Tadpole Food and we will see how long it takes our tadpoles to grow strong enough to leave their birth pond.
