Care Tips - Before Hydrocharis Morsus Ranae (Frogbit) disappears to the bottom of the pond for winter. It's advisable to collect some of the plant growth in a bucket if you are going to do an Autumn pond clean out. The buds of Frogbit are apple pip size, and can easily be removed by accident. Extra info - Available only from June - September. Floats freely on the pond surface in Summer and then drops down and overwinters on pond floor as dormant buds.
