Care Tips - Before Hydrocharis Morsus Ranae (Frogbit) disappears to the bottom of the pond for winter. It's advisable to collect some of the plant growth in a bucket if you are going to do an Autumn pond clean out. The buds of Frogbit are apple pip size, and can easily be removed by accident. Available only from June - September. Floats freely on the pond surface in Summer and then drops down and overwinters on pond floor as dormant buds.
